On the outside of Kurtis Kenerson’s Hendersonville house, you cannot tell that there was damage caused by a tornado. The back of Kurtis Kenerson’s home, however, tells a completely different tale.
Kenerson said, “There are roof damages, broken windows in our baby room, our master bedroom and, of course, our overhang is pretty much destroyed.”
Kenerson, who lives in Middle Tennessee and was affected by the tornadoes that ravaged the area recently, knew he had to act quickly. He called an experienced roofing contractor from the locality so as not to cause any further damage. The awning on his back porch has structural problems and requires roof repairs.
Our roof needed to be tarped so we wouldn’t get secondary damage. They did this before our insurance agent arrived. Kenerson said that when the insurance company arrived at our house, the roofers walked with them to show them all the details about the roof.
